The Division Bell Page Numbers
The page numbers in the TDB booklet are in different languages.
Strictly speaking, TDB "page numbers" are not "numbers". They are words designating or spelling a number. So numbers can be considered as "absent", unless we count the back of the CD case, were the 11 songs are numbered inside the image, on the right side of the Face Heads.
3. Spanish TRES = 4 letters
5. English FIVE = 4 letters
7. Hindi SATH or SAAT = 4 letters
8. Italian OTTO = 4 letters
11. German / Dutch ELF-ELF = 6 letters
13. Japanese (romanized) JYUSAN = 6 letters
15. Swahili KUMI NA TANO = 10 letters
17. Chinese / Japanese JYUSHICHI = 9 letters
19. French DIX-NEUF = 7 letters
21. Hebrew KAPH ALEPH = 2 letters
22. Russian DVADTSAT DVA = 11 letters
Page 8 and 22 are the only two even numbers of the booklet. they really stand aside from the others.
8 + 22 = 30. this is the average number of days of a month.
The "normal numbers" in the page numbering should have included 9 and 23 (9 + 23 = 32)
